Our Daughter, Maizie turned one this last week and of course today we threw her a party! It was so awesome and nostalgic to be surrounded by family and friends. One part of her party I was committed to bring from my childhood was a homemade birthday cake. My paternal Grandma decorated a cake for me every year, like Grover from Sesame Street or Barbie or a Cabbage Patch doll. Well, I decided to make her cake look like her invitations.
Maizie received so many presents from clothes to puzzles to her new kitchen! She loves it all.
