Life...a whirlwind

As we were gearing up to leave KC almost a month ago, I was ready to come home and settle into our life and jump into Autumn! Two days later, we find out that James' job is taking us to Canada for 9-12 months. So instead of enjoying the last few weeks of summer, I feel like these past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Here are some pictures showing how we've been living life full-steam ahead, but I hope to look back and reflect that there were some slow moments this summer.

I'm happy to report he now likes ceral!

Maizie has discovered Waldo, but she's not yet memorized the entire book like Julie did at age 4! She loves to turn to the page with only Waldo and shout..."I found Wa-Wado!"

Maizie and I were having breakfast this morning and she starts chatting. Telling me that she's going skiing with Grandpa. I tell her that will be going in awhile after seeing Grandma, going to Pops & Nini's house, moving to Canada. But she doesn't understand. So I tell her we'll go skiing when the snow comes. She said it has to fall on the deck and then says, "God told me and He lives in our hearts!" I thanked God right then for devotion time with Maizie! Bless her for child-faith!

Here are Lily & Maizie at the water "pounton" in Kellogg park in Plymouth. Before Julie & Lily's flight on Monday we had a fun time walking around, shopping the boutiques, and eating tasting treats from Kilwin's!!

And finally our little man has a broncial virual infection and is on steroids and a nebulizer. Had I waited another day, he would've ended up in NICU! Yikes, thank you God for mother's intuition. It is crazy how God instilled that on a mother's heart...when asked, "How do you know?" Well, "I just know! I feel it in my heart, it's an uneasy, relentless, nudging that screams to take care of my babies!" Only God could design something so powerful. I think God has this same intuition about us!

I had no idea Jackson was so sick! I thought it was just a cold like Maizie! Poor little guy! And you can't go wrong with a nebulizer, we have one, and it is great for those nasty winter colds with lingering coughs, helps to open up the airway. Except it makes the kids a little wild, but at least they breathe easier!

We had such a great time with you guys! Missing you so much and looking forward to our/my next visit!
