Project Completion

I have been wanting to start and complete this project for months now. I was inspired to make a larger Changing Pad for my diaper bag while in KC. I used 1 yard of fabric, 1 package of large width bias tape, 1 yard of Warm & Natural batting, and of course, my Huskyqvarna Lisa Sewing Machine! I used my quilting-walking foot for the first time and this simple project was a great start. I also embellished this with embroidered Sail Boats inspired by THIS Pottery Barn Kids Crib Bedding.

Although I am currently working on a handful of Christmas gifts, here are a few in my sewing que for after the first of the year. This was a free embroidery design from Follow the White Bunny. I love her sweet embroidery designs and was so excited to see a freebie...let alone that this darling Koala was on Skis!!! I have yet to decide what to embroider this on but it will be on something soon!

Oh and I just found this today which has been added to my sewing que. I have some of this fabric that I can't bring myself to cut...that was until I saw this pattern. I'm hoping to pick it up during the Holidays. This designer, Lila Tueller Designs, is a new fun find! And I love this style on me: raglan with some puff to hide the mummy-tummy!

Love the mat. So cute and the embellishments are adorable! Need to go make Ellie one. I think I have the material. BTW I LOVE writing ELLIE's name. Am I a dork? Only downside to the blog? Not seeing my sweet nephew laying on it.
James should get his manpanties embroidered with the koala!
Cute top too. What about pics of the fabric you never wanted to cut!
I found a patttern for my Lill fabric. Hopefully after we get back at Xmas I can get rollin!
