Book Review

I. Read. Books. I start a book. I finish a book.

I have read many books this summer, but first I want to get the ones I didn't enjoy out of the way. I don't want to spend too much time & energy describing why I didn't like them. But here they are:

1. I felt like this book was someone's dissertation for their Masters Degree. Loads of info, hardly a character story.

2. I had hopes this book series would be like the knitting mystery series that are out there. But this was a disappointment, the story was intertwined with loads of witchcraft. Wierded me out! I don't believe in that stuff!

3. Finally, a sad disappointment. Eat, Pray, Love. I have looked at this book in the Target aisles and could never convince myself to get it. I saw it awhile ago at the library and picked it up. I started it knowing it would be difficult for me because the woman left her husband and her life to go on a personal journey. I don't really like it just for that reason, but I read 1/3 of the book to see what all the buzz was about. It took me 5 days to decide not to finish this book. It is out of my character to not complete a book started. Aside from that, I thought the writing was boring and the descriptions of her adventures vague and left me wondering what Rome was really like.

(Please remember these are my opinions, I welcome comments, but do not care to debate!)
