Alpaca Silk

It took four and half years for this Blue Sky Alpaca Silk to turn into a Seafoam Ruffle Shawl.  And then it took a stuff-in-a-bag throw it down the basement steps for a few months journey!  Then restoration began.  Ripping out hundreds of stitches.  Digging out my yarn winder. Sitting on the deck rewinding the yarn.  Then picking up hundreds of stitches.

You see I messed up the 2nd row of the ruffle.  Which made the pattern appear on the wrong side of the shawl.  It was ugly.  It made me mad.  But we've been reconciled.  I've completed it.  And it will be bring great joy after five years to wear it this Autumn and Winter season, which in my mind cannot come soon enough!

Oh my word beautiful!!!! How scrumptious. Can't wait to see a pick of you all styled up with it this fall! Drinking a pumpkin spice latte? Now I am motivated to finish the scarf for Shane I started 3 years ago!
