Backtracking---Fourth of July

I woke up in the middle of the night with a whopper of a migraine. I've not had one in quite a few months and with all the craziness in our lives the last few months, it wasn't a big surprise. I could tell two days ago, I had one coming. So because of all that and my awesome husband who was able to take care of the kids and go in late this morning, so I could sleep, I sit here laughing.
Well mostly because I can't seem to sit still. Usually if I'm sitting, then I'm either knitting, playing games with Maizie, feeding Jackson, embroidering, reading, etc. But I think I should just be laying on the couch but I don't trust myself with any needles, so there goes my crafts. My eyes hurt so there goes reading and internet. That leaves the kids but Maizie is too busy with a DVD and playdough and Jackson is taking a nap. So I'm at the computer. I clearly out of it because I used the knife with cream cheese on it to stir the cream in my coffee...can we say GROSS!
So here I am backtracking and sharing a little of our lives the last few months. I've been reviewing pictures and wanted to share these from 4th of July. We had a fun relaxing time with at camp with my parents. We even attended the Fourth of July parade in Copley. I was "teaching" Maizie the art of grabbing candy from the street. It, of course, took me back to my childhood! Loved it! Did I mention that Dad and Mom treated us to Filet Mignon on the open fire! Wow delicious!

Love the pics! I didn't know James had such a water spitting talent, that's nice. Maizie is getting bigger everytime I see a new pic! And as far as Jackson, I know it would be cruel, but maybe you could cut back on his food intake so he doesn't grow so fast, at least until I meet him! Just kidding, but for real.... slow down lil guy!

Why does Dad look so mad at the parade? Did he not get enough candy? ha ha ha ha!
