Catching Up

I've been following the Eat-Clean for two weeks today! I've been focused and committed! I feel fantastic! I do add a few exceptions, I allow myself to use 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee and I eat 1 sugar a day. I have to say, I am beginning to see the change. I am fitting into my size 8's!! This is a huge victory for me because I always feel so much more comfortable about myself when I'm in this size! I always say don't get married to a size...but I personally feel my healthy size is 8! So I'm excited, which means I'm staying focused and losing weight! To reward myself, I bought the new cookbook and sat down after lunch to pick a few recipes. I am trying to make this more fun for James! I've really been focusing on fresh. We went to WF this morning and picked up a few things...look at these red grapes...they're on the left. And on the right red potatoes. This eating plan doesn't eliminate potatoes and bread, it just makes you think about quantity and adding other veggies and grains to make the overall meal healthier for your body. I also picked up a whole pomegrante and also a brochure on how to cut it...this is a first for me!

Before we left for Toronto, we call got a haircut. Well not Jackson of course! Here's Maizie getting her 1st Official Haircut! She loved it! As soon as she was finished, she ran over to James, picked up a clump of hair, and said "She cut this one!"

Jackson has made it perfectly clear he loves Froggie! The 1st pic is from MI awhile ago and the 2nd is from the other night when I think he was trying to convince us yet again!

P.S. Pomegranates are not hard to cut, but they are kind of a pain. You have to soak the seeds in water to seperate the membrane. But they are scrumptious in yogurt and cereal!
