Jackson Update & Maizie Haircut

Today I had an OB appointment. Things are great, I'm just about to start Trimester #3 and I'm shocked how the time has flown by! Jackson's heartrate was in the high 130s-low 140s, which is good. He's been moving around a whole bunch and even wakes me up at night. I am suprised at the forcefullness of his movements compared to Maizie, she was more subtle and gentle. I'm guessing it's one of the boy/girl differences.

Maizie has been such a big girl lately. She has been saying more words in her sentences, she received her first haircut/trim, helping unload her dishes out of the dishwasher, and even ventures to let Bosco outside. By the way, she loved getting her haircut. I had given James a haircut a few days before and she stood by and loved watching the process. When I told her she was going to get a haircut, she acted like she knew just what to do!

Maizie's also been very cuddly lately. She'll come up to James or I and say, "Daddy/Mommy, I cuddle?" which pulling back the afghan. My heart melts everytime. And because I've been resting more and she's been cuddling more, we went to the library (which she calls the bookstore) and rented 6 children's movies!!! Everything from Sesame Street to Care Bears to Veggie Tales!

How cute! She is such a big girl. I'm also glad to see the doll house in the living room--I'm sure Maizie is loving it :)
